Some REITs are taking hard measures in other cost-saving initiatives in order to not have to cut dividends. Since cutting dividends will result in a hard stock price drop, and that can be even worst for the REIT. - Kodibearb - 2020-04-25 11:36:37 PDT

I’ve bought #GEO, what I’m trying to buy more of before the all rebound are the ones that have strong market cap values, tendency to increase dividends and low dividend yield due to their high prices, this is my list #O, #HIW, #AAT, #AVB, #CPT, #UDR, #MAA, #DEA, #ESS, #DEI, #PSB, #CCI, #DLR, #CONE, #EGP, #DRE, #ARE, #PLD, #FR, #SUI, #ELS, #COLD, #TRNO, and #REXR for now. I purchased #REXR yesterday, I haven’t purchased too many shares in the past because the dividend is still low compared to other logistic REITs, it has a current dividend yield of just 2%. What excites me about Rexford is that they are currently the Nation’s 3rd largest and fastest-growing logistics REIT. It also has a lot of room to grow ahead. #PLD has almost fully rebounded, well kind of, back to around the $70 from a high of around $90 to $100/share. People are realizing that even with all the social distancing one dependency everyone has on, is receiving shipments directly to their doors and receiving essential to groceries and pharmacies. Therefore, although other types of REITs may suffer, industrial, logistic REITs such as #PLD, #TRNO, #DRE, #EGP, #REXR should do better than many. - LLNN - 2020-03-29 10:43:26 PDT
