Ashford Prime Announces Rebranding To Braemar Hotels & Resorts Yahoo Finance News Braemar Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:BHR) ("Braemar" or "the Company"), formerly Ashford Hospitality Prime, Inc. (AHP), today announced that it will change its name from Ashford Hospitality Prime to Braemar Hotels & Resorts, trading under the New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol BHR, effective before the market opens on April 24, 2018.

About Braemar Hotels & Resorts, Inc


Braemar Hotels & Resorts is a conservatively capitalized REIT that invests primarily in high RevPAR, full-service luxury hotels and resorts. We are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol BHR and are externally-advised by Ashford (NYSE American: AINC). Braemar's strategy is to invest primarily in full-service luxury hotels and resorts which are anticipated to generate RevPAR of at least twice the then current U.S. average RevPAR for all hotels as determined by Smith Travel Research. Braemar seeks to acquire both premium branded and independent hotels.
