Exantas Capital Corp. (NYSE: XAN) is a real estate investment trust that is externally managed by an affiliate of C-III Capital Partners LLC (“C-III”). Exantas Capital Corp. leverages C-III’s capabilities and expertise to invest in CRE credit investments. The Company’s primary investment strategies include transitional commercial real estate loans and longer duration commercial real estate credit investments, such as commercial mortgage-backed securities. C-III Capital Partners is a fully-diversified asset management and commercial real estate services company. Exantas Capital Corp. is externally managed by Exantas Capital Manager Inc. (f/k/a Resource Capital Manager, Inc.), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of C-III. Since C-III’s founding in 2010, the Company has successfully expanded its platform throughout the U.S., both organically and through acquisitions, to include fund management, principal investment, mortgage origination, loan servicing, investment sales, property management and brokerage. C-III’s assets under management of over $8 billion enhances its access to market data, which is complementary to C-III’s leading position as one of the largest CMBS special servicers in the U.S. that has resolved over $50 billion of commercial real estate loans. We are also a large multifamily property manager with over 24,000 apartment units under management. These components are integral to C-III’s objective of delivering superior, long term returns to investors by applying its local market information advantage to commercial real estate equity and fixed income investment strategies.
