Sekisui House Reit, Inc. ("SHR"), has merged with Sekisui House Residential Investment Corporation to operate as a highly stable diversified REIT with residential properties and office buildings as its core assets on May 1, 2018. Since the listing of their investment units on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust Securities Market (J-REIT market) on December 3, 2014 and July 28, 2005, respectively, SHR and Sekisui House Residential Investment Corporation have achieved steady growth through asset management operations with an aim to consistently secure stable profits in the medium to long term and attain steady growth of their portfolios. We expect that the merger will expand the size of assets and improve our presence in the J-REIT market.
