ARMOUR announced today that they will move to a quarterly dividend on its common stock for the second quarter of 2020. "ARMOUR’s Board of Directors will uate the Company’s results, financial position, real estate investment trust (“REIT”) tax requirements, and overall market conditions as the quarter progresses. The Company expects to announce its decision regarding the amount of second quarter dividends on common stock in the latter part of June 2020 as well as whether the Company will return to its prior monthly dividend policy. By adopting the more conventional policy of announcing quarterly dividends towards the end of the quarter, the Company believes it can maintain greater flexibility and generate increased liquidity." This is one reason I don’t put much hope on mREITs, they are always the first ones to get the hardest hit when any kind of changes happen in the market. #ARR - Davestew - 2020-04-02 19:11:40 - See full comment

Overall REITRating™ Score
REITRating is REITNote's Real Estate Investment Trust industry-specific rating and ranking system. The REIT’s score for each analysis is out of ten points, with ten being the best score and zero being the worst. A score of zero can be assigned if the REIT does not meet the criteria for that specific analysis. N/A is assigned if insufficient data is available for a particular analysis. Our REITRating logic is continuously improving, so a REIT’s rating and ranking may change over time. Important Note: REITRating is not a predictor of a REIT’s future performance, it is an evaluation of its past results. Additionally, the REITRating system is for informational purposes only and does not represent financial or investment advice or a recommendation of which REITs to acquire. Learn more.
