#NRZ mortgage REIT cut its dividends from 50 cents to 5 cents per quarter. - Faston - 2020-04-01 10:20:12 - See full comment
I think New Residential Investment mortgage REIT just cut its quarterly dividend from 50 cents per common share to 5 cents. I also got the feeling from the release that there can be future cuts depending on how this whole thing goes. They stated "The Board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per common share for the first quarter 2020. The dividend is payable on May 15, 2020 to common shareholders of record on April 15, 2020. ...We feel that the decision to reduce our common dividend at this time is prudent in order to preserve liquidity for our Company,” Michael Nierenberg continued. “The Board will uate the Company’s ability to pay dividends in future quarters commensurate with our liquidity and the earnings power of our Company and based upon customary considerations, including market conditions.” #NRZ - Faston - 2020-04-01 10:19:01 - See full comment
I’ve had a hard time finding mREITs that can consistently increase dividend payment values over long periods. Some mREITs which I know have a history of increasing dividends are #ACRE (Ares Commercial), #ABR (Arbor Realty), #Loan (Manhattan Bridge Capital), #HASI (Hannon Armstrong), and somewhat #NRZ (New Residential Investment). - Fyryr - 2019-06-15 00:01:11 - See full comment

Overall REITRating™ Score
REITRating is REITNote's Real Estate Investment Trust industry-specific rating and ranking system. The REIT’s score for each analysis is out of ten points, with ten being the best score and zero being the worst. A score of zero can be assigned if the REIT does not meet the criteria for that specific analysis. N/A is assigned if insufficient data is available for a particular analysis. Our REITRating logic is continuously improving, so a REIT’s rating and ranking may change over time. Important Note: REITRating is not a predictor of a REIT’s future performance, it is an evaluation of its past results. Additionally, the REITRating system is for informational purposes only and does not represent financial or investment advice or a recommendation of which REITs to acquire. Learn more.
