(NYSE: TWO) completed the closing of its acquisition of CYS Investments Inc. pursuant to the previously announced Agreement and Plan of Merger between the companies. CYS Investments, Inc. is a specialty finance company that invests on a leveraged basis primarily in residential mortgage pass-through certificates for which the principal and interest payments are guaranteed by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or Ginnie Mae.
