About Lexington Realty Trust, Inc.


Lexington Realty Trust (NYSE:LXP) is a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns a diversified portfolio of real estate assets consisting primarily of equity investments in single-tenant net-leased commercial properties across the United States. Lexington seeks to expand its portfolio through build-to-suit transactions, sale-leaseback transactions and acquisitions. The Lexington franchise was born in 1973. Investing in single-tenant net-lease assets was then, and still is, the crux of our core business. The franchise went public in 1993 under the name Lexington Corporate Properties. We continued to grow through various portfolio transactions, most notably in 2006 as the successor in a multi-billion dollar merger, branding the new company Lexington Realty Trust.
